Reesco Retail is rebuilding 7 facilities for Netto in various locations

Reesco Retail, a company specializing in building and redeveloping retail space, is transforming 7 Tesco locations into Netto chain facilities. Works in Skawina, Myślenice and Mława have already been completed, and by February 2022, reconstruction of another four facilities will be carried out. The estimated total area of works is over 4,500 m2.

Reesco Retail specializes in building and rebuilding retail space. The team operates on three levels: from adapting the space and carrying out arrangement works for the tenant, reconstruction of the facility for the landlord, and ending with the construction of retail parks and convenience centers. Reesco Retail advises clients, estimates and controls construction costs, as well as designs, supervises and performs construction works as part of design & build.

Work under the project implemented by Reesco Retail for the Netto retail chain started in July 2021 and will last until February 2022. The scope of cooperation includes 7 facilities: in Skawina, Myślenice, Mława, Gołdap, Białystok and two in Przemyśl. As part of adapting the facilities to the standards of the Netto network, depending on the location, the following works are carried out: repainting of walls and roofs, adapting ceiling installations inside and sanitary and electrical installations, or painting the facade. As a result, the former Tesco buildings are transformed into modern and visually consistent Netto retail outlets.

Our team specializes in the reconstruction, modernization and finishing of commercial spaces, which we are able to carry out throughout Poland. Managing rebuilds for Netto in several locations at the same time requires the appropriate experience and thorough planning and supervision of works – says Lucyna Śliż, Head of Development, Reesco Retail.

The Tesco conversion is a complex process for which an experienced and committed team on the Netto side plays a huge role, as well as trusted, professional external partners. We can certainly include Reesco Retail in this group – says Radosław Bartkowiak, Head of Construction, Netto Polska.

In June 2020, Salling Group, the owner of the Netto retail chain, signed an agreement with the owner of the Tesco retail chain, for the purchase of the Polish part of the business originating in Great Britain. It was finalized by a decision of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in March 2021. Since then, Tesco stores have been converting to the Netto model, which is scheduled to be completed in March 2022, in turn rebuilding approximately 250 Netto stores within 12 months.
