Reesco has completed the modernization of the Wellness & SPA zone at Suntago Water Park – the largest facility of its kind in Europe and one of the most important leisure attractions in the Mazovia region. Located in Wręcza, in the Mszczonów municipality, the complex attracts visitors from Poland and abroad every year, who can now enjoy a comfortable, functional, and aesthetically refined Wellness & SPA space. The new concept for the SPA area was designed by Bartosz Trzop, together with Radosław Klimek, Kinga Gajewska, and Joanna Justyńska from Trzop Architekci.
Functional Refresh and New Guest Experiences
The project by Trzop Architekci, delivered by Reesco as the general contractor, was developed in response to the investor’s expectations to give the SPA zone a completely new and more attractive character. The modernization included a comprehensive renewal of the space, with a strong focus on improving guest comfort and service quality.
The central element of the transformation is the redesigned, bright, and welcoming reception area, which now serves as the representative centerpiece of the Wellness & SPA zone. New features – a atmospheric tea lounge and a brine graduation tower with a comfortable relaxation area – have given the interiors a holistic and regenerative character. The result is a modern, engaging SPA environment tailored to the needs of demanding guests, which has gained an entirely new identity thanks to close cooperation between the investor, the design studio, and the general contractor.
As part of the project, Reesco carried out the modernization of the Wellness & SPA zone, focusing on enhancing guest comfort and overall experience. A key element of the redevelopment was the refreshed and more prominently exposed reception area – a coherent and recognizable showcase of the entire space. The project also introduced features supporting relaxation and regeneration, including a newly arranged tea lounge and a brine graduation tower with a dedicated relaxation zone, allowing guests to unwind before further activities.
Implementation in an Operating Facility – Full Coordination and Work Without Disruption to the SPA Schedule
The modernization works were carried out while the Wellness & SPA zone remained fully operational, under a strict “live environment” regime. To avoid interference with the operation of treatment rooms, the Reesco team performed works during off-peak hours, ensuring seamless logistics, uninterrupted deliveries, and a high standard of organization.
An additional challenge was the specific environment – increased humidity and variable temperatures required the use of appropriate technologies, materials, and anti-corrosion protection systems. All works were executed under rigorous quality control and in compliance with the standards applicable at the Suntago Water Park.
